Did you manage to get hooked on the Winter Olympic Games over the last few weeks? I certainly did!I am still amazed by how it captivated a nation, we were all glued to the television watching our boys and girls win a record amount of medals for Team GB. It wasn’t only us who were hooked on the games, I was with a few Canadian friends watching the Ice Hockey final, I can tell you that I haven’t seen passion like that in a very long time. It was absolutely amazing to see everyone that I met talking about the Winter Olympic Games, all of a sudden my friends became experts on such sports as the luge. Then theres the curling, the one sport that we all no idea how it works but yet we all have our own opinions about how it should be played. All in all it was an amazing time and one that none of us ever wanted to end.
So now the Winter Olympic Games have come to a close, the closing ceremony was such an amazing spectacle. Although I enjoyed watching the ceremony, all I could think about was what I was join got do now that I won’t be able to get my winter sport fix everyday. Then I got an email from a friend that made my day and gave me light at the ned of the tunnel.
WinterWorking.co.uk have come up with what I think is the best solution possible; working and enjoying winter sports! I don’t think it comes much better than that, do you? Let me explain. The good people have created an app that allows users to easily locate remote working spaces and offices that give you the opportunity to ski or skate in the afternoon. So now all of us that work remotely will be able to find places to work that have ski or skate facilities close by, all of this will be available with just a few clicks of a button. The best part is that users themselves can add remote working locations and resorts that allow people to enjoy the winter Olympics after is has finished. You will be able to enjoy a winter sport holiday whilst you work, what are you waiting for? See you on the slopes soon!
