All inclusive holidays are one of the best ways to go on holiday these days, in the last decade they have undergone a huge face lift and are now considered by many as the only way to holiday. Personally, I absolutely love them! With our hectic lives what could be better than booking a holiday where activities, food, flights, transfers and accommodation are all included in the price? I love being able to book my holiday knowing that I have paid for all of the major costs and pretty much everything that I will need for a great holiday.
All inclusive holidays are not only great for families but also for couples and groups of friends as well. Each resort has it’s target audience, mean sing that everything on site is catered to your exact needs. The place to start you search is by looking at all inclusive Caribbean resorts, the Caribbean has without doubt some of the most luxurious and beautiful resorts anywhere in the world.
To make sure that you get the most from all inclusive breaks I thought it would be a good idea to give you 3 of my top tips to help you choose the perfect resort for you and your group. All inclusive holidays are good because they are stress free, so with a few simple tips you can make sure that from booking to arriving back home goes as smoothly as possible. If you’ve been on an all inclusive holiday and would like to share some of your experiences or tips with us all then please leave a comment in the comment section below. So, here are the tips I think we should all follow:
What’s included – is it worth the extra cash?
Look at the price on offer for each resort and see what is included in the price. I know that ‘free this’ and ‘unlimited that’ sounds great, but if for example you don’t drink too much alcohol or are teetotal then what is the use in going to a resort with unlimited alcohol? The same can be said about the entertainment, if you are more than happy to lounge by the pool reading a book then you don’t need extravagant shows at your resort. There are however a number of extras that you should always look for; airport transfers, water sports and also free baby sitting services.
Think about what is important for your holiday
Do you like to be active all the time and have fun exploring your holiday destination or do you enjoy to sit back, relax and forget about all of life’s stresses on holiday? Decide what is best for your group and then look at all of the available options. If you are a true adventurer then look for a resort with lots of day trips on offer and energetic activities. If you like to kick back and chill then you should always go on an all inclusive holiday, if you don’t have kids then make sure you are going to a resort which is ‘adults-only’ for the ultimate in relaxation.
Speak to an expert
You should always consult an agent, no matter how well travelled and experienced you are with booking flights and hotels, an agent is your best bet to advise you on the best resort for your all inclusive holiday. They may also be able to get you some very nice little extras, bonuses and even free upgrades!
